Shelby McClure

Shelby began taking dance at the age of four and has more than 20 years of dance experience, including performing, training, instructing and coordinating.  She has been selected to train and teach solo performers and groups for pageants and competitions.  Shelby has taken from some of the world's most renowned industry leaders such as Nappytabs, Denise Wall, and many more.  She has her Master's degree from OU that has enabled her to manage numerous squads and develop dance programs for public schools, private studios and the sports industry.  She has been the dance team manager for a professional dance team, danced on a collegiate pom squad and performed in numerous venues from Silver Dollar City to the half-time of National Bowl Games.  Shelby has won awards for choreography, creativity, costuming and has won numerous overall awards. She has set pieces for numerous competition teams that have won Nationals Championships.  Shelby teaches all genres and is thrilled to instill the TILT values in her students using dance as her catalyst.  Her focus is to encourage her students to achieve excellence in all areas of their lives.

Jonathan Batista

Jonathan is a graduate of both schools in London - UK, both English National Ballet School and The Royal Ballet School, and also a Trinity College Graduate with a bachelor degree in Dance.
With his broad knowledge, he has spread his passion to leading young generation to excellence in dance as well as in discipline, encouraging youth to achieve their goals and becoming successful.
Batista continues to pursue an international Guest Artist and Guest Teacher for dance competition studios and is a former Principal Dancer for Milwaukee Ballet and will join Oklahoma City Ballet as a Principal Dancer for the 2017-18th season and will continue to guest teach, coach and mentor for Dance Studios and Dance Competitions throughout the United States. Meagan Crockett-Edsall

Meagan Crockett, formerly the director and choreographer for Klassy Dance in Redwood City California, has recently completed her education with a B.A., at the University of Texas Arlington. She has been dancing for 20 years and trained competitively for 12 years. She has danced for Mission Dance and Performing Arts, the Oakland Ballet, professional sports leagues, Bliss Dance Company, and The University of Texas Arlington Dance Team. Meagan has been recognized for her dance and teaching abilities, receiving a dance scholarship to study in New York. In addition, she has choreographed shows for Valley Christian High School, Ohlone College, and Achiever Middle School.

Meagan is also a personal trainer. She holds nationally recognized certifications in pilates, reformer, and personal training. Her passion is training dancers, but she has also worked with many other clients, that have been injured or in recovery. She enjoys teaching all ages. Meagan is known for her training, stretching, and conditioning sessions with her dancers. She pushes dancers to work towards their goals and never give up!

The goal Meagan has for her dancers are to inspire them and to help them to be the best dancer that each one can be. "I am a dancer. I believe that we learn by practice. Whether this means to learn to dance by practicing dancing or to learn to live by living. In each it is the performance of a dedicated precise set of acts, physical or intellectual from which comes the shape of achievement." –Martha Graham

Katy Caudle

Katy  was born and raised in Ada, Oklahoma, and began dancing there at the age of 3.  She studied with Kathy Capshaw at The Dance Center, and was captain of her high school pom squad, where she trained with Rachel Bernham-Hendricks. She was also an UCA All American Cheerleader. Some of her favorite dance memories are from training at the famed Broadway Dance Center in New York City. Katy's love of the arts is not confined to dance. She also choreographs for the Stillwater Children's Theater/CentreStage Theatre Company. Katy is a former title holder in the Miss America Organization, holding the titles of Miss Ada, Miss Southeastern Oklahoma, and Miss South OKC.  Katy now trains and choreographs for pageant girls. Katy believes in pushing her students to achieve their best performances.  Katy’s choreography has been showcased on the national level, winning multiple awards at national dance competitions. Katy has been privileged to have been with Tilt since day one, and calls it her happy place. Katy has never met a rhinestone that she didn’t like, and can rap the entire Hamilton soundtrack. 

Lacy Estrada

Lacy has been dancing for 17 years. She trained at Applause Dance Studio, Classen SAS, Jr. Race, and The Dance Department. She has grown up on the competition circuit and has competed at many dance competitions. She has won titles at many of these competitions. Lacy is in her fourth year as a Dance Performance Major at the University of Central Oklahoma. She is looking forward to graduating in the spring with her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance. She has been a member of the University of Central Oklahoma’s Kaleidoscope Dance Company for one year. She has performed and choreographed for many shows while attending UCO, including Ted X UCO. When she is not at school her favorite thing to do is teach dance. Lacy hopes to inspire, encourage, and challenge each student in her classes. She is super excited to be teaching at Tilt this season. 

Kara Mickle

Kara began taking dance at the age of 13 and has eight years of competition dance experience at The Dance Department, including two years of collegiate pom and cheer experience at Oklahoma City University. With the OCU pom team Kara won two NDA National Championships and was an NDA All-American dancer. She also won two NAIA/NCA National Championships with the OCU cheer team, as well as being an NCA All-American cheerleader. Before she started dancing, Kara was a competitive gymmast for almost ten years. She trained at Tumble Stars, Victory Gymnastics, and Star Gymnastics where she worked with Steve Nuno, coach of Olympic Gold Medalist Shannon Miller. 

Kara is currently attending the University of Central Oklahoma for Dietetics and plans on completing her graduate degree in Dietetics to become a Registered Dietitian. She loves to encourage her dancers to be conscious of how they are fueling their bodies. 

Kara's goal is to be a positive role model for her students and to instill characteristics such as integrity, respectfulness, and optimism within her dancers.
